The fact that, in the 21st century, 12% of the population suffers migraine attacks without adequate support in the workplace is as incomprehensible as it is unacceptable.
Therefore one in seven people in your company are in this situation. Now, if we all work together, the time has come to reverse this and to normalise a disease which, in itself, is enough of a problem for those of us who suffer from it.
Migraine sufferers greatly appreciate every gesture that helps us to achieve our goal.
Thank you for your time and attention.

The importance of dealing with migraine at work
Dealing with a stressful situation at work is complicated, but it’s especially meaningful for those who not only give their all as professionals, but also do so while living with the invisible burden of migraine. The strength it takes to be present, to overcome the pain, and to keep going despite it all, is something that deserves profound respect.
Therefore, Dr. Agosti and Dr. Brunn share a powerful reminder: understanding and respecting migraine is not just a medical necessity, but a human need. Only by truly acknowledging this condition can we build a more compassionate and inclusive world for the millions who suffer from it daily.

For employers
A company that is sensitive and responsible towards issues such as
migraine for its employees is a company worthy of recognition and
one that everyone will be proud to be a part of.
At EMHA, we want to help you create a migraine-friendly workplace
and we will do everything we can to make it happen. Here is a first
guide so that we can start working together.
