We Are Not Alone: EMHA Advocates for Migraine Awareness and Research
Migraine affects 1 in 7 people worldwide, making it one of the most prevalent neurological disorders. At EMHA (European Migraine & Headache Alliance), we are part of a global migraine community committed to raising awareness, supporting patients, and advancing migraine research.
This World Health Day, we say thank you—to the scientists conducting groundbreaking studies, to policymakers creating evidence-based health policies, and to advocates who have never stopped seeking solutions. #StandWithScience is about more than research—it’s about validating what patients have known all along. Migraine sufferers’ voices are now supported by scientific evidence, but our mission continues: more research, better access to treatments, and patient-centered care.
By supporting global migraine advocacy, EMHA works to ensure that neurological health is recognized as a public health priority across Europe and worldwide. Together, we can improve lives, expand knowledge, and give every patient the care they deserve.
