On 18 October, EMHA will join the International Menopause Society (IMS) in marking World Menopause Day.
Menopause is an important stage of women’s health, and its connection with chronic pain deserves greater awareness, research and support.
At EMHA, we work to better understand and address the experiences of women living with migraine, including the hormonal patterns that can influence migraine throughout different stages of life.
This year’s World Menopause Day focuses on Chronic Pain at Midlife — a topic that is highly relevant to the migraine community and to our work on Migraine in Women.
We are pleased to join this global initiative and help raise awareness of the need for greater recognition, understanding and support for women experiencing pain during midlife.
