The past September 6th the European Migraine and Headache Alliance team flew all the way to London to assist to the 17th Biennial Migraine Trust International Symposium. It was an amazing and exciting event full of people interested in finding ways to give a brighter future to migraineurs. We were beyond than an honor to be part of this symposium and represent the patients' community in such an important Congress. You can find below some images of what we lived last week, already looking forward to the next MTIS!
EMHA Executive Director Elena Ruiz de la Torre along with Professor Peter Goadsby was in charge of giving the first speech at the opening ceremony of MTIS 2018. We couldn´t be more proud and honored of being able to represent the patient community in such an important event! Over 800 assistants have visited the Congress so far!! We keep searching for ways to give a voice to patients, raise awareness and educate everyone about this condition, which so many people suffer from and sadly the number keeps increasing day by day.
This upcoming September, EMHA team will be visiting the British capital city of London in order to participate in the MTIS congress organized by Migraine Trust. EMHA will be participating in the activities held during the Congress such as communications meetings, active participation on roundtables and of course an EMHA booth by Board members and Staff will be found at MTIS Exhibition Hall! We are very excited about the event and looking forward to being in London already.
