Migraine Awareness Week 2018 MAI held an accredited Health Care Professional Seminar, during which two international speakers presented on Migraine: Diagnosis and Treatment, and the Development of the new Anti-CGRP medication. EMHA Executive Director Mrs. Elena Ruiz de la Torre traveled to Greece yesterday September 12th on Migraine Day of Action, to assist to the meeting held at Athens by the Hellenic Headache Society on behalf of Migraine Awareness Day. She had the chance to tell her personal story about being a migraineur and how it has impacted her life, in front of people like General Secretary of Social Security, Mr. Vraka, of Mr. Mitsikostas, President of the Greek Headache Federation, and of the President of the Greek Migraine and Headache.
The past September 6th the European Migraine and Headache Alliance team flew all the way to London to assist to the 17th Biennial Migraine Trust International Symposium. It was an amazing and exciting event full of people interested in finding ways to give a brighter future to migraineurs. We were beyond than an honor to be part of this symposium and represent the patients' community in such an important Congress.
